MATCHING ENERGY SUPPLY AND DEMAND FOR INDUSTRY

Transforming industry to meet emission reduction targets on the one hand and to start replacing fossil feedstock on the other, requires breaking through multiple chicken-and-egg dilemmas.

There needs to be sufficient supply of affordable renewable, decarbonized energy and required infrastructure for example for electric grid, H2 and CO2 pipelines, storage and harbors. But producers of renewable and low-carbon energy need more insights into and clarity about future energy demand before they can make their investment decisions. The same is true for grid operators. The challenges to supply industrial processes with non-fossil carbon seem to be at least as large.

The agenda on 4 June 2024 will therefore zoom in on Matching Energy Supply and Demand for Industry.
The event is hosted by SIEMENS ENERGY and TENNET.
