ERC is delighted to invite you to a unique site visit aboard the Purus Horizon, a Service Operating Vessel (SOV) recently welcomed to the Purus wind fleet. This vessel is deployed by Siemens Energy for the maintenance of an offshore wind farm operated by Vattenfall. The Purus Horizon returns to shore only once every two weeks. As an exception, ERC has been given the opportunity to bring a small group of members on board for a visit and gain insight into the maintenance of an offshore wind farm.

More important information about registration: 

• A maximum of 30 ERC members can be welcomed.
• Please note that the tour requires a reasonable level of physical fitness; you will be walking through the ship, climbing stairs and navigating deck surfaces that may be slippery and surrounded by mechanical equipment. 
• For safety reasons on board the vessel, a helmet and safety shoes are mandatory. Participants must arrange their own personal protective equipment. If you forget to bring your PPE, you will not be able to attend the site visit. As this is a visit to an operational site and vessel, no personal protective equipment can be provided to visitors on site. 
• Taking photos or videos on board (and any related social media posts) is only allowed with prior approval from Purus, Siemens Energy and Vattenfall. 
• A participation fee of €30 applies to cover expenses. 
• Registration is on a first come, first served basis. 
• A one-time, free-of-charge registration as an ERC member is required to take part. Tickets can be refunded up to 7 days before the event. 
• Please be on time; you will not be able to attend the visit anymore after the program has started at 12:00. 
• The deadline for registration is 24 Augustus.
