The Focus Groups Financing the Energy Transition, System Integration, and Digital Energy team up to dive into the mechanics of creating new value chains. In the upcoming session, we look at various aspects involved in setting up a new value chain by looking at it from the different viewpoints of our three focus groups: finance, system integration, and digital technologies.

Tijs Beek, Manager Energy Insights at Sproule, will set the scene with a presentation on the costs of the energy transition, integrating its various subsystems and establishing new value chains, and the use of AI for trend-watching and scenario planning.

After this presentation, the Focus Groups leaders Michiel Engelaar (Financing the Energy Transition), Andreas ten Cate (System Integration), IJsbrand Kentie and Jonah Poort (Digital Energy) will engage participants in an interactive discussion challenging them to create their own value chains in break-out groups. Together with the participants, we want to answer the ultimate question: Is it better to act by yourself, or work together?

We have invited Zarief Hasrat, Strategy & Transformation Manager at Nobian to conclude the session, evaluating its outcomes, and looking ahead to challenges still to come.
