Hear from Hydronex, Uniper and REFORMERS Renewable Energy valleys in the joint Hydrogen and System Integration Focus Group session. Together with representatives from government, innovation funding and EPC they will continue the discussions from the morning plenary panel on the bumpy road of project execution when building green hydrogen factories in the real-world.

We have invited developers from three very different companies for our upcoming ERC event on 20 November — from “start small, smart and adapt” to “go big or go home” — to share their real-world lessons, sharp insights, and honest stories.

Complex business cases, grid connection hurdles, safety challenges, and unexpected technical twists make every step a learning experience. That is why we look forward to hearing from:

• Joep Sanderink, Project Manager, New Energy Coalition & Future Energy Leaders NL, who will talk about REFORMERS Renewable Energy Valleys

• Jasper Tonen, Project Developer, Hydronex, who will talk about Decentralised hydrogen production to solve grid congestion: Energiehub Eeserwold

• Martijn Overgaag, Country Lead Hydrogen Business Development, Uniper, who will talk about H2Maasvlakte

After the project introductions, we’ll zoom out for a lively panel discussion featuring experts from government, innovation funding and EPC:

• Ed Buddenbaum, Program manager, GroenvermogenNL

• Greg Stock, Director, Green Hydrogen Centre of Excellence, Worley

Together, we’ll explore key questions:

• Are we scaling up fast enough?

• Are policies helping or holding us back?

• What does it take to build a viable hydrogen business today?

We will also welcome representatives from recently granted OWE projects for an open, interactive discussion — an opportunity to exchange experiences and connect with peers driving the energy transition forward.
