NEW ERC AND VOLTACHEM EVENT ON 27 OCTOBER

NEW ERC AND VOLTACHEM EVENT ON 27 OCTOBER

Hydrogen projects are starting to come on stream across the Netherlands and Germany. With them comes a wave of hard-won experiences and learnings we can't afford to ignore. What are these first-of-a-kind projects teaching us? Where is the potential for cost reduction, faster development and more reliable production of hydrogen from renewable sources?

On 27 October in The Hague, this event - organised by Energy Reinvented Community and VoltaChem and moderated by Rene Peters en Monalisa Goswami - brings together professionals from across the energy industry to dive into those questions from an EPC perspective. We'll look at what's working, what's slowing things down and what it will take to move from first-of-a-kind hydrogen projects to a scalable, second-of-a-kind pipeline.

This is an interactive session. We're not filling the afternoon with one-way presentations — we're building it around your input. This event is designed to draw on the real project experience in the room: come prepared to share what you've seen work, what hasn't, and where you think the industry still gets it wrong. Every insight, question and lesson shared during the event will be captured and shared back with all attendees afterwards, so the value of our discussion travels well beyond the event itself.

What to expect:
  • A deep dive into learnings from hydrogen projects coming on stream in the Netherlands and Germany
  • An interactive format with substantial room for audience input, discussion, and debate
  • A post-event report capturing the key lessons learned, shared with every attendee

Highlights of the program:
  • A setting the scene presentation by Adi Akheramka (IPA Global)
  • Casestudy about the TNO report ‘Lessons Learned from FOAK projects in the Netherlands’ by Marcel Weeda (TNO) and Arend de Groot (TNO)
  • Casestudy by Greg Stock (Worley)
  • Casestudy by Shahab Nazari (McDermott)
  • Casestudy by Peter Berting (IV Engineering)
